Louise and I were looking through Ruby’s belongings and we unpacked a trunk full of quilts and handbags. Hidden underneath a piece of cardboard, lining the bottom of the trunk was a photograph of Ruby as a young girl and her little baby Snookie. Both so young and beautiful.
